Live Like A Local In A Palm Springs Vacation Rental

Having an entire house to myself while on vacation in Palm Springs sounds like a dream come true, and it has! I love hotels with their access to 24 hour room service and daily housekeeping, but every once in a while I want a place to call my own that feels more like a home than a hotel room. A Palm Springs vacation rental from Acme House Company is just what I need and they have hundreds to choose from covering Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert and La Quinta! A fully outfitted kitchen, multiple bedrooms, comfortable living room, and best of all a private pool for my guests and I’s personal enjoyment. I won’t be splashed by a five-year-old  wearing water wings in this pool unless they come with me!

The house I’ve selected for my week in Palm Springs is located right off Palm Canyon Drive. It is a 2-bedroom, 2 bath home and it is all mine for 5 nights! For privacy reasons I’ve not photographed the front of the house, however, it is very easy to find and the location is very close to a few of the restaurants I’ll be checking out during my stay.

When I pull into the driveway I get out and enter the lock code I was emailed with my reservation confirmation. My first look inside is the cosy living room complete with cable, flat screen TV and a nice Bluetooth sound system.

The next room I check out is the kitchen. It is not huge, but it is perfectly adequate for my week long vacation. I can see myself making Margaritas, fruit salad for breakfast and perhaps a few mid-afternoon snacks for nourishment while I float in the pool.

Before I head into the backyard, let’s check out the bedroom where I will be sleeping. I’ve chosen the master for myself complete with an ensuite bathroom. Another nice room and the bed is very comfy! Wonder where the glass door leads? Straight to the back yard and the pool of course. Imagine waking up and the first thing you do is head straight to the pool for a refreshing wake up swim.

So, the backyard. The inside of the house is very nice and certainly very adequate. The backyard and pool are spectacular There are lounge chairs, a hammock, and even a separate seating area towards the back with a fire pit if the night gets a bit too cool for you.

It might be a bit hot in the middle of Summer to eat outside but there’s a very nice outdoor dining area and a few feet away is the BBQ. This is where my pitcher of Margaritas will be waiting for me.

This is where I will be calling home for a few nights. You can select this house for yourself if you like it. It is called The Nest. If you need something a little bigger or in a different location, don’t fret. Go to Acme House Company and search for the perfect size, amenities, and location that will make your Palm Springs vacation rental the right choice for you. Once you’ve made your choice you can stay up to date on your rental through their smartphone APP. All the info you need on your phone!

If you want to live like a local the best choice for you is a home that you can call your own for the time you are here. Enjoy!
