What are you up to this weekend? Will you be joining me at the Vancouver Golf & Travel Show at the PNE – Pacific National Exhibition? It is open Saturday, and Sunday, Feb 13 & 14th from 10 am to 5 pm, 4 pm on Sunday. I went for the first time last year and had a blast. I tried my hand at a few golf skills challenges, did some shopping for new sports clothes and gear, and I even picked up a few golfing deals that can only be found at the show. If you love golf, or you know someone who does, this is the place to be this weekend. Even if Golf isn’t your thing, there is plenty for you to see and enjoy. There are over 125 exhibitors after all and last year over 7,000 came to the Vancouver Golf Show. Here are 5 reasons I think you should put this event on your weekend calendar of things to do.

The Vancouver Golf & Travel Show is the largest consumer show in Western Canada with over 125 exhibitors, travel destinations and manufacturer’s representatives. Where else will you be able to shop, play, and plan for your best round of golf all under one roof?

TaylorMade, Adams Golf, Ping and Callaway are confirmed to have the latest equipment in the demo area. Some of the top golfing brands in the world will be on hand with the latest equipment for you to try out. Will you get an extra 10 yards out a new Driver? You’ll never know unless you give it a swing.

Skill Testing Challenges. There are many great events like the GolfBC KP Challenge and the Harmonix Putting Championship to name a few. Put your golf skills to the test and compete for fun and exciting prizes. All skill levels are welcome and who knows, a first timer may just get lucky and sink the putt of the century.

Deals, Deals Deals! Many golf courses will be offering great deals and specials only available at the Vancouver Golf Show! If you’ve been following the Vancouver Golf & Travel Show on Twitter, you will see that courses from across the province are offering deals that you can only get at the show.

The over 7,000 attendees last year prove that this is the must attend event of the Vancouver Golf season, don’t miss it. Besides the weather is going to be pretty crappy in Vancouver, so take cover from the rain and get inspired for some glorious Spring and Summer days golfing and traveling around Beautiful BC.
